The Master’s Program in Strategic Studies commenced in 2015 within the Department of Information Management. It is distinguished as the first master’s program in the field of strategic studies in Turkey. In 2020, the Department of Strategic Studies gained an independent structure, and the master’s program was integrated into this new framework. The primary goal of the program is to provide comprehensive education in the field of strategy, thereby cultivating students into specialized professionals.
The key skills that our program aims to impart to students include:
Mastery and application of fundamental theories, concepts, and discussions in strategy and related fields at an expert level.
Development of strategic thinking, analysis, and management skills. Students will have the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge to real-world problems and enhance their capability to make strategic decisions.
Proficiency in research methodologies and acquisition of skills necessary for conducting scientific research. Students will learn the methods used in their fields, enabling them to conduct independent research and generate knowledge.
Upholding ethical values and social responsibilities. The program aims to train students as expert strategists who act with ethical sensitivity in research and practical applications. It seeks to equip students with the skills to approach societal issues with sensitivity and offer solutions.
